This lunch and learn will provide an introduction to the Prescription Pruning Qualification that was developed by Ed Gilman and the Florida Chapter of the ISA. The webinar will cover how it came about, what the course covers (overview of the material), why it's important and how it can be expanded in the future.

 Dr. Ed Gilman - Professor Emeritus, University of Florida, is the author of the Prescription Pruning Qualification Manual and Workbook. After decades of research, many publications, books and presentations, the fruit of the labor and passion from Dr. Gilman cannot be more clearly recognized and applied in our daily arboriculture practices. Dr. Gilman has spent much of his life and career dedicated to creating longer-lived, sustainable trees in and around where we live, work and play.
