What We Do
Watch as the top tree climbers from across the state compete for prizes. Participants compete In five events that mimic real work situations, including: aerial rescue, work climb, throwline, belayed speed climb and ascent.

About TCC
Since 1999, the Georgia Arborist Association has held an annual Tree Climbing Championship as a way to bring our community together for competition, camaraderie, and social engagement.
It gives sponsors a chance to showcase goods and services to participants and volunteers, and allows climbers and those interested in climbing to learn new techniques, showcase their skills, and potentially win awards and prizes.
The 2025 27th Annual GAA Tree Climbing Championship will be held November 14-16 at Violet F. Stout Park in Lithia Springs, Georgia.

2024 Tree Climbing Championship
Congratulations to the 2024 Masters Challenge Champions, Jhonny Lopez and Summer Price. Jhonny and Summer will have the opportunity to compete at the International Tree Climbing Championship in Christchurch, New Zealand in 2025.
