Membership Benefits

ISA Certified Arborists are required to obtain CEUs (Continuing Education Units) to maintain certification.

The GAA offers up to 12 opportunities for CEU’s FREE to members every year. In addition, there are significant discounts and early access to other certification and qualification courses throughout the year.

Scholarships

Scholarships are available for the ISA Certified Arborist Exam Prep Course to tree board members and tree care workers employed by a city, county, school or university who are not already ISA Certified Arborists. 

Scholarships are sponsored by the Georgia Forestry Commission.  Applicants must be employed within the State of Georgia.  Scholarship covers the $100 cost of the course, but does not include free membership. 

The GAA has a limited number of ISA Study Guides available in exchange for a donation of $125.
