Welcome to the GAA

A resource for tree care professionals and the public to protect and care for Georgia's trees.

    GAA Meetings

    The GAA regularly meets on the second Tuesday evening of every other month. These meeting occur 15-30 minutes before all of the trainings (which can be found below and on our events page).

    Goals of our meetings include:

    • To discuss business and activities of the organization;
    • To hold annual elections for the GAA Board of Directors;
    • To provide training opportunities and ISA certification credits;

    • To provide industry leadership opportunities;

    • To promote professionalism and networking;

    • To provide socialization for members;

    • To help participants develop and market your business.

    Visitors and guests:

    Visitors and guests of our members are welcome at GAA bi-monthly meetings. Visitors and guests are asked to register at the door, and will be allowed to attend one meeting for free. Those who would like to attend more than once are encouraged to join our association. Repeat visitors will be asked to pay a $15 charge at the door.

    Funds for the GAA are provided by the Urban and Community Forestry Grant Program administered by the Georgia Forestry Commission.
