    • 9:30-10:30 am – From Propagation to Planting : Jeff Covelle, More Than Trees 

    • 10:30-11:15am – Establishing a Crew Morning Routine:  NUF Speaker, New Urban Forestry 

    • 11:15-11:30 am – The Importance of Fleet Maintenance & DOT Compliance: Rickie Nelson, Advanced Maintenance 

    • 11:30 am-12:30 pm – Trees & Georgia Law: Lea M Clark, Georgia Forestry Commission 

    • 12:30-1:30 - Lunch at Stuckey Auditorium

    • 9-10 am Tree Assessment and Tools of the Trade: Peter Jenkins, Treeinspection.com 

    • 10-11 am Mushrooms On and Around Trees and What They Mean: Peter Jenkins, Treeinspection.com 

    • 11-12 pm – Hands on Tree Injection & Fertilization: JB Toorish, Arborjet 

    • 12 pm – Lunch at Stuckey Auditorium 


    9 ISA CEUs applied for, 9 SAF Credits Available, 8.0 CTSP credits.  A certificate of attendance will be provided for all other credentials

    $85 for members, $150 for non-members (includes one year of membership in GAA)

    We have blocked off 30 discounted rooms at the Holiday Inn Express in Griffin (5 mins from the event).  There is limited space and the block expires on July 19th, so please book quickly.  If you miss the window there are many other places to stay, however the Holiday Inn Express was great the last time we used them and very convenient location!  Please mention GAA to receive the discount of $139/night +tax/fees.
